Married (Kuala Lumpur Edition)

After what felt like an eternity, with multiple changes to plans, family tensions, hospital visits, hours and hours of travel, hair and make up, parties with heavy drinking, our families all pulled together across the globe and we came together at the temple that I went to as a child where we got married on the evening of Monday, July 7th 2025. Yes a Monday but this was not a date and time that we decided on at random but one that the priests and astrologers had recommended. It just happen to also be my father’s birthday.

The ceremony was received by us as a deep, profound, reflection and celebration of our commitment to our relationship that was commemorated with our loved ones, friends and the Cosmic (Hindu gods and planets that I was raised with)
